Hungry for more nourishing connections?

Together we can co-create the kind of stick-to-your-bones, relationship-centered experiences your community craves.

As a transformational experience designer and consultant, my passion is for designing experiences that enable people to engage more fully with life and each other. Experiences that meet our fundamental human need for connection and belonging by delivering profound, meaningful and transformational impact. The kind of experiences that stick to the bones. That forge new connections, and deepen existing ones.

I have a particular interest and expertise in designing learning experiences and gatherings for unique social needs such as neurodivergence and introversion, ensuring those typically neglected by traditional event design feel a deep sense of inclusiveness.

Good experiences are forgettable.
Great experiences are magical.

Experience Design & Consulting

From experiential dinners, pop-ups, and immersive art events, to learning experiences, conferences, retreats, and workshops, I can collaborate with you on designing the moments, rituals, and experiences that foster genuine connections. I act as a creative catalyst to ensure that your offering delivers that transformational impact that you desire, designing WITH end-users, not just FOR them. I can help you shape the experience you deliver using well-tested frameworks and methodologies that create the best conditions to hold space for deep transformation to take place.

Writing

My first love is writing, and I actually have an MFA in creative writing. I am currently putting all of my knowledge, experience, and ideas about experience design into a book about gatherings called The Experiential Wedding: How to Design the Moments, Rituals, and Experiences that Make a Wedding Truly Legendary, but I am also available for content writing about experience design, and my essays about these and other topics are available to read on my substack, Designed for Connection.

Speaking & Facilitation

I can speak on a diverse range of topics from designing for connection or emotion, to inclusiveness in design, particularly as it pertains to neurodivergence and diverse social needs and accommodations. I also love to design, personalize, and facilitate workshops, ideation and brainstorming sessions, and other collaborative and enriching experiences to help your teams uncover their greatest ideas. My specialty is creative development, in other words I help you make it—whatever “it” is—and turn passion into purpose.

About me

I’m fascinated by the ways in which design can make life better, and I believe it can be more meaningful, more moving, and more memorable if we put the human experience at the center of the design process. Combining wild creativity with strategic rigor, I dream up inventive ideas infused with deep empathy for the messiness, tenderness, and vulnerability of being human. The result is transformative experiences people can’t stop talking about.

My work is informed by a diverse background in the fine arts, positive psychology, experience design, relationship-building facilitation practices, and radical curiosity. To give someone something they want, but don’t expect requires deep insight into humanity—identity, emotions, expectations, and memory—and I consider myself a lifelong student of the human condition.

Recent projects include production on the Kaospilot and KP+ Experience Design training in Berlin since 2022, a collaboration with the DO School designing and facilitating co-creation workshops for the Goethe Institute's worldwide internal pilot project for rethinking spacial concepts, as well as designing and implementing an ever-evolving toolkit for future institutes to independently participate, and a book on experience design for weddings & gatherings called The Experiential Wedding.

Originally from New Jersey, I have lived all over the world including New York, San Francisco, Bali, Austin, Costa Rica, Mexico, and now Europe where I split my time between Berlin and my olive farm in Catalonia, Spain. Before pivoting to experience design I was a photographer for ten years.
